8 - 9 Aralık 2022 tarihlerinde 4. Uluslararası Uzaktan Öğrenme Ve Yenilikçi Eğitim Teknolojileri Konferansı (The 4th International Conference on Distance Learning and Innovative Educational Technologies - DILET2022) Başkent Üniversitesi konferans salonlarında ve sanal salonlarda yüz yüze ve çevrimiçi oturumlar ile gerçekleştirildi. 

8 Aralık 2022 Perşembe günü gerçekleştirilen “Information and Communication Technologies in STEM Education” konulu panelin moderatörlülüğünü Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nden Doç. Dr. Selay Arkün Kocadere üstlendi. Panele Oslo Metropolitan University ve Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi’nden Prof. Dr. M. Sencer Çorlu ve Linz School of Education’dan Prof. Dr. Zsolt LAVICZA panelist olarak katıldı.

Panelin ana tartışma soruları ise şu şekildeydi:

1. How should STEM Education be integrated? How do you interpret Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity in STEM Education?
2. What is the role of technology in STEM? How technology could be better integrated into STEM education?
3. What are the challenges in STEM Education?
4. Could you please mention your studies for teachers' professional development?
5. Could you please explain the research studies on STEM Education in your department?
6. What do you suggest to the researchers who want to study STEM education?
7. What counts as innovative STEM education research; which topics the researchers should focus on?
8. what will be your suggestions for the teachers who would like to work in STEM education?

Panel sorularının yanıtlanmasının ardından konferans, sanal salonlarda bildiri sunumları ile devam etti.
